Waiting. PHONE / WALK: Open this page in a Web Bluetooth-capable browser. On iPhone, Safari normally will not expose Web Bluetooth; use Bluefy or another compatible browser. Power the headset, choose TEST BT / CONNECT BT, pick the actual BLE UART board, then REC + GPS + WAKE. DESKTOP / BENCH: Use CONNECT USB for a CP2102/USB serial adapter. If using an HC-05/HC-06 Bluetooth Classic SPP module, pair it in the operating system first, then try CONNECT USB/Serial in desktop Chrome or Edge. IMPORTANT: CONNECT BT / TEST BT is for BLE UART boards such as HM-10/JDY/Nordic UART. A random Bluetooth audio board will not work even if it appears in the chooser. BENCH SUCCESS: Off-head: PACKETS OK climbing + SIGNAL 200 = serial path and solder joints probably good. On-head: signal drops toward 0, attention/meditation come alive.
BLE UART TARGETS: HM-10 / JDY style FFE0/FFE1, or Nordic UART Service. If the console says no supported BLE UART service found, the selected Bluetooth device is probably the wrong module.
HM-10 WIRING: MindFlex T-pin → HM-10 RXD · battery + → VCC · both grounds → GND · TXD unused. Default 9600 usually matches the MindFlex side.
NIGHT RECORD: EXPORT NIGHT writes one sealed JSON — meta + timeline of {t, ms, signal, att, med, bands[8], lat, lon}. Held in memory only until export.
WAKE: keeps the screen on during a walk where supported. iOS/browser behaviour varies.
LINK OUT: parsed packets broadcast on local channel nvp-mindkiller — same browser only, one-way.
SAFETY: USB path ties your head to a mains-connected desktop through copper — bench tests only. The Bluetooth build is the field instrument.
